Thanks for visiting with us online. Missoula New Life is a community of people committed to an authentic relationship with God and with each other; come as you are. We don’t care if you are in a suit or a sack; we just want you to be with us in an environment where you can feel comfortable. We are a charismatic church affiliated with the Assemblies of God.

What We Believe:

1. There Is Only One True God

There is only one true God who has no beginning and no end.  He is perfect and just in every way.  His love and mercy knows no end.  He is the ultimate expression of love, peace and joy.  But most of all He is a Father that loves His creation.

2. The Bible Is The Inspired Word Of God

The bible, while written by men, is an infallible, all authoritative, instructional love letter that God Himself wrote to His people.  The Bible is the source of infallible truth and authority by which we judge all insight and prophetic revelation.

3. Jesus Is The Son Of God

The Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, and is God’s Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God’s kingdom on Earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into Heaven, and is now alive today in the presence of God the Father and in His people. He is “truly God” and “truly man.”

4. Man Is In Need Of A Rescuer

While man was created to be sinless sons and daughters of God, we fell because of our disobedience.  All have sinned and fallen short of God’s original designs and are in need of a Savior.

5. Saved By Grace

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. No ordinance, ritual, work or any other activity on the part of man is required or accepted for their salvation

6. Empowerment Of The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in us as believers and brings love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control into our lives. He gives us spiritual gifts including: speaking in tongues, prophesying, words of discernment and healing, among others.

7. Sanctifying Power Of The Holy Spirit

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live holy and minister supernaturally.  Sanctification is an ongoing, daily process that deepens as our relationship with God grows.  It is our goal to lead a life of purity and holiness, just as Jesus did.

8. A Family With A Purpose

The church has little to do with a physical place but is the universal body of Christ which transcends denominations and people groups.  We are first and foremost a family of believers that celebrates our differences to make up the true body of Christ. We as the Church, consist of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. The Church exists to carry on the mission of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God’s love, and discipling the nations–baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God.

9. Jesus Is Coming Back

We believe in the literal, physical return of the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is coming for a pure and spotless bride.  While we look forward to His coming, we want to be about our Fathers business until He returns.  Our goal is not to merely escape the coming judgment but to lead as many of His children into a saving relationship with Him as possible before He returns.

1.  Word of God

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

2. Kingdom

We desire for everyone to understand that we are working to build God’s kingdom and not just a church.  We desire to partner with all like-minded people and churches to see His kingdom come!

3. Revival

Our hearts burn for revival.  To see God move in power and in might.  To see His supernatural gifts being used to draw all men to Himself.  To see whole cities changed for the good of the Gospel.

4.  Relationship

When Jesus was asked what was the greatest commandment, He answered “love your God with everything in your being.”  Jesus then said it is just as equally important the we love those around ourselves with the same passion.  For us, we must love God and man with no strings attached.  Whether the serve God in the same way, or believe in the same things.  Our mandate is to love, not agree.

5.  Honor

Our hearts desire is to show honor to everyone that we come into contact with.  We are all created in God’s image therefore we believe that each of us is created for greatness and we want to honor who God has destined you to be.

Three common practices of believers who are walking out a healthy relationship with God are giving, growing, and gathering. We want our partnership to help you GIVE, GROW and GATHER at our church.

“GIVERS” understand that what has been given unto them is from God, and they are blessed to be a blessing to those around them. They are cheerful givers of their time, talents and treasures, and personally take measures to impact and show the love of Jesus to those around them.

We are designed to GROW! Christians who are growing are in pursuit of more knowledge and understanding of who Jesus is. Whether it is on a personal level, or in a group setting, “growers” take responsibility in their own lives to discover more.

Believers who have a healthy walk with God also GATHER in an environment where they find a place to plug in. This is a place where they will be missed, and they actively take part in doing life together through community and fellowship with others!
