REVIVAL IS FAMILY. FAMILY IS REVIVAL.
WHAT REVIVAL MEANS TO US
1. RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
First and foremost, Revival begins with our own intimate, personal relationship with God. We are called to pursue Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Without intimacy, revival is just a passing event. Our goal is not to gather great crowds, but instead to see individuals dive deeper into God’s love.
2. POWER THROUGH IDENTITY
Revival can only happen when we realize our true identity in Christ. When we accept Christ, we are not just “sinners saved by grace”, but rather we are new creations. We are now saints, righteous in the eyes of God. Our true potential and effectiveness can only be found when we realize that we are royalty, sons and daughters of the living God. When we live in our true identity, the anointing and power of God flows from us to reach a world desperate for an encounter with Him.
3. SUPERNATURAL MINISTRY
Every believer, regardless of age and gender, is a supernatural minister of the Gospel. We believe in the miracle workings of Jesus- loving the poor, healing the sick, and raising the dead, and as such, we have a mandate to equip the church to carry out these same signs and wonders. Through this, we long to see the fulfillment of “Your kingdom come; your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.”
4. REVIVAL BEGINS WITH FAMILY
We believe that revival is multigenerational. God is honored when families experience His supernatural power. Not just the young, not just the old, but everyone. All generations are encouraged to be engaged in seeking the presence of God. Revival looks like family.
5. REVIVAL IN WORSHIP
We desire to be a community of Worshippers that engage heaven. We long to pursue the presence and the power of God through worship. Our desire is to let our worship prophesy the greatness of God. Together we long for the glory of God to manifest with healings, deliverance, and manifestations of God’s goodness.
1. THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE GOD
There is only one true God who has no beginning and no end. He is perfect and just in every way. His love and mercy know no end. He is the ultimate expression of love, peace, and joy. But most of all He is a Father that loves His creation.
2. THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD
The Bible, while written by men, is an infallible, all authoritative, instructional love letter that God Himself wrote to His people. The Bible is the source of infallible truth and authority by which we judge all insight and prophetic revelation.
3. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD
The Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, and is God’s Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God’s kingdom on Earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, buried, resurrected, and ascended into Heaven; He is now alive today in the presence of God the Father and His people. He is “truly God” and “truly man.”
4. MAN IS IN NEED OF A RESCUER
While man was created to be sinless sons and daughters of God, we fell because of our disobedience. All have sinned and fallen short of God’s original designs and need a Savior.
5. SAVED BY GRACE
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. No ordinance, ritual, work, or any other activity on the part of man is required or accepted for their salvation.
6. EMPOWERMENT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in us as believers and brings love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control into our lives. He gives us spiritual gifts including; speaking in tongues, prophesying, words of discernment and healing, and many others.
7. SANCTIFYING POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live holy and minister supernaturally. Sanctification is an ongoing, daily process that deepens as our relationship with God grows. It is our goal to lead a life of purity and holiness, just as Jesus did.
8. A FAMILY WITH A PURPOSE
The church has little to do with a physical place but is the universal body of Christ which transcends denominations and people groups. We are first and foremost a family of believers that celebrate our differences to make up the true body of Christ. We as the Church, consist of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. The Church exists to carry on the mission of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God’s love, and discipling the nations–baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God.
9. JESUS IS COMING BACK
We believe in the literal, physical return of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is coming for a pure and spotless bride. While we look forward to His coming, we want to be about our Father’s business until He returns. Our goal is not to merely escape the coming judgment, but to lead as many of His children into a saving relationship with Him as possible before He returns.
1. WORD OF GOD
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.
We desire for everyone to understand that we are working to build God’s kingdom and not just a church. We desire to partner with all like-minded people and churches to see His kingdom come!
Our hearts burn for revival. To see God move in power and might. To see His supernatural gifts being used to draw all men to Himself. To see whole cities changed for the good of the Gospel.
When Jesus was asked what is the greatest commandment, He answered, “Love your God with everything in your being.” Jesus then said, “It is equally important we love those around us with the same passion.” For us, we must love God and man with no strings attached. Whether they serve God in the same way or believe in the same things. Our mandate is to love, not agree.
Our heart’s desire is to show honor to everyone that we come into contact with. We are all created in God’s image therefore, we believe that each of us is created for greatness, and we want to honor who God has destined you to be.
